II Timothy 1:7; II Chronicles 20:15; Zech 4:6; Ephesians 6:10-18 - "See A Victory"

Every time I was awake during the night I had the song See A Victory going through my mind. No matter what we go through on this earth when we are in relationship with our Heavenly Daddy we will See A Victory in the end.

The weapon may be formed, but it won't prosper
When the darkness falls, it won't prevail
Cause the God I serve knows only how to triumph
My God will never fail
Oh my God will never fail

I'm gonna see a victory
I'm gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to you Lord
I'm gonna see a victory
I'm gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to you Lord

Yes! It does not matter if the battle is small or large. It also doesn't matter how long it lasts. King Jehoshaphat was told in II Chronicles 20:15b (NIV), Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not your, but God's. When we stand upon II Timothy 1:7, we will be empowered through the Holy Spirit to stand in His love. It is by the Holy Spirit that we can See A Victory in desperate situations. Zechariah 4:6b reads in the English Standard Version, Not by might, nor by power, but my my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. We cannot have victory through our battles on our own strength. We are weak without the presence of the Holy Spirit in us. That is why it is so important to put on the full armor of God every day as we go into battle. We must adhere to Paul's words in Ephesians 6

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Yes! This is the only way to not only get through the 'tough' days but to glorify God through them!

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for another year of life! Thank You for all You accomplished through me since my last birthday! Thank You for loving me so greatly! Thank You for empowering me to get through these 'tough' days with Doc's health! Father, may today be the day he is able to eat and function. That would be the best birthday present ever! Lord, I pray continued empowerment for us. Cleanse us so You can fill us to overflowing with more of You. I pray for the work that will be done at the church building this morning. May You bless our efforts. I also pray for ones on my heart who are hurting due to: physical issues in them or loved ones; relationship issues; financial issues; and most of all spiritual issues. May You be greater than the hurts of life. Thank You Jesus for being My Victory! Amen.
