Ephesians 5:1-2 - "Beloved"

There are times in life when a person feels like they are not loved by anyone. They feel like they are worthless. But they must remember no matter what people say or do to them the Lord loves them. He is ready to take them into His arms and love on them. In the song "Beloved" there are words that ring so true...

Don't let hope fade, keep your eyes fixed on the light above
In the heartbreak, in your mistakes, nothing can separate you from love
Don't be afraid

One cannot be afraid to love Jesus. They cannot be afraid of what others will say when they are in relationship with Him. They cannot be afraid of losing friends because of loving Him. True friends will not leave you because of you being in relationship with Him. People may make you feel like He doesn't love you because of the things of your past but that is not true.

Forget the lies you heard
Rise above the hurt
And listen to these words
You are beloved

He loves us more than anything. He loves us more than the 'bad' things we have done. He loves us more than we could ever imagine. He loves us so much that He walked in obedience to His Heavenly Father to die for us. Wow...that is some kind of love!

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for Your love that pours out upon us in some mighty ways. Thank You for dying on the cross and rising again. Thank You for the way You show us mercy and grace. Father, this morning I am praying for those who feel unloved. I pray they will find Your love. I pray someone will go before them to make them realize the lies they are being told are just that. Thank You for cleansing me so You can fill me with more of You. Thank You for giving me a heart to love people with Your love. Go before me today and show me those who need an extra dose of Your love. Thank You for the opportunities You will give Doc and I today to show others Your love in a mighty way. Thank You Jesus for being The One to Love Me So Greatly. Amen.
