Psalm 119:33-40 - "Old Time Rock and Roll"

I am so blessed to have Doc! He is my best friend, husband, pastor and Papa to our grand babies. He spoils me...love me...directs me...takes care of me 'in sickness and in health' ...teaches me...the list goes on and on. When I read Psalm 119 and get to verses thirty-three through forty I am reminded of Doc...

³³ Teach me your decrees, O Lord;
    I will keep them to the end.
³⁴ Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions;
    I will put them into practice with all my heart.
³⁵ Make me walk along the path of your commands,
    for that is where my happiness is found.
³⁶ Give me an eagerness for your laws
    rather than a love for money!
³⁷ Turn my eyes from worthless things,
    and give me life through your word.^[a]
38 Reassure me of your promise,
    made to those who fear you.
³⁹ Help me abandon my shameful ways;
    for your regulations are good.
⁴⁰ I long to obey your commandments!
    Renew my life with your goodness.

Yes! He strives to live for the Lord and is a fine example for me to follow. I am one blessed woman to have him for my husband!

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for the blessing of my husband! Thank You for his love for You which transpires through his love for me and our family. Thank You for his leadership in my life as my pastor. Lord, I pray blessings over him in abundance in this year that is ahead. Guide his feet to where You so desire Him to go. Speak through him with words You desire to flow from him. Thank You Jesus for being The One Who Blesses Me Daily With My Husband. Amen.
