Psalm 24 - "King of Glory"

This morning the Lord took me to Psalm 24....
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it;
for he founded it on the seas
    and established it on the waters.
Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
    Who may stand in his holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
    who does not trust in an idol
    or swear by a false god.[a]
They will receive blessing from the Lord
    and vindication from God their Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
    who seek your face, God of Jacob.[b][c]

Lift up your heads, you gates;
    be lifted up, you ancient doors,
    that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
    The Lord strong and mighty,
    the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, you gates;
    lift them up, you ancient doors,
    that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory?
    The Lord Almighty
    he is the King of glory.
YES! He is the King of Glory! I like singing Third Day's King of Glory that goes...

His name is Jesus
Precious Jesus
The Lord Almighty
The King of my heart
The King of Glory

There are days where we feel like we can't go on. When we focus on Him, He gets us through. When we allow Him to be our strength, He empowers us with what we need. When we don't allow the enemy a foothold, He blesses us. It doesn't matter if it is a physical issue, a tough time we are going through emotionally or just having a 'bad' day. When we allow Him to get us through, we will be blessed.

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for the strength You gave me yesterday to endure the 'junk' of this MS. Thank You for the way You empowered me to continue on when I wanted to give up. Thank You for the way You calmed the meltdown when I felt the tears come to the surface. Lord, I love You so much and am so grateful I do not have to deal with MS on my own but rather with Your strength. Someone asked me recently why You would make me go through this instead of just taking it out of my body if You loved me so much. My response was: "It is because He loves me so much that He allows me to have it." Lord, continue to use this disease to be a beacon of light for You. Fill to overflowing with more of You and less of me so I can be more effective for You. Father, thank You for being My King of Glory. Amen.
