I didn't feel like I was but yet with the pain I am having maybe there is some fear. Did I do something permanent to my back/hip? Will the pain ever go away? These questions were flitting through my mind yet I felt peace in knowing whatever lies ahead is in God's hands. I know of some other people going through physical issues that may or may not be fearful. Some are waiting on cancer testing results. Trust is key to having peace. Trusting in God is the only way to live. In this verse it tells us not to make any decisions by ourself ("lean not on your own understanding") but instead to allow Him to be in control ("in all your ways submit to him"). The end result will be His peace ("he will make your paths straight").

This morning I am praying for so many people who need to truly know Him so they can experience His peace. I am praying for people to get to the end of themselves and allow Him to work in and through them. The only way to conquer fear is through a deep faith that will enable one to have great trust in our Heavenly Father. He is greater than anything that comes our way.
