"Fear you don't own me...there's ain't no room in this story..." The words to "The Breakup Song" have been going through my mind all night. At one point I asked God if I was fearful. I didn't feel like I was but yet with the pain I am having maybe there is some fear. Did I do something permanent to my back/hip? Will the pain ever go away? These questions were flitting through my mind yet I felt peace in knowing whatever lies ahead is in God's hands. Trust is key to having peace. Trusting in God is the only way to live. In this verse it tells us not to make any decisions by ourself ("lean not on your own understanding") but instead to allow Him to be in control ("in all your ways submit to him"). The end result will be His peace ("he will make your paths straight").
No God = No Peace
Know God = Know Peace
This morning I am praying for so many people who need to truly know Him so they can experience His peace. I am praying for people to get to the end of themselves and allow Him to work in and through them. The only way to conquer fear is through a deep faith that will enable one to have great trust in our Heavenly Father. He is greater than anything that comes our way.

Thank You for this Scripture that You brought to me this morning. Thank You for the song You gave me throughout the night. Father, take me deeper into relationship with You today. Cleanse me so You can fill me to overflowing with more of You.
