Proverbs 31:25 - "Already There"

I woke up this morning singing a song Casting Crowns sings...

One day I'll stand before You
And look back on the life I've lived
‘Cause You're already there
You're already there
When I'm lost in the mystery
To You my future is a memory
‘Cause You're already there
You're already there
Standing at the end of my life
Waiting on the other side
And You're already there
You're already there

These days are very tiring to both my physical and my emotional being. I am so thankful for the reminder this morning that God is in control and He knows everything that is before me. I am grateful for the reminder that I do not have to worry about 'getting everything done' because when I stay living in His presence He will direct me to accomplish what He desires of me...nothing more, nothing less. Wow! I go back once again to the verse He gave me through Doc's sermon Sunday, Proverbs 31:25...

Dear Jesus,
I praise Your Holy Name for the way You know exactly what I need before I even need it. You are so awesome. Lord, I pray I was a blessing to You yesterday. I pray I spoke Your words and was Jesus to people. I pray the same for today. Lord, I think of the words You gave me a few weeks ago as I was praying for our church body. 'May it be so...' Lord, I pray this will be how my day is today. I pray You will be blessed through my words and actions. Fill me to overflowing with more of You so people will see and hear You not me. Lord, I thank You for Sharon coming yesterday and for all that was accomplished with packing. I thank You for the words of encouragement You provided through her. Bless her Lord in abundance. Father, a new day is ahead and as the song says "You're already there..." Woo hoo! That is comforting to ponder upon! Thank You for being My Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. Amen.

Proverbs 31:25 - "Top of My Lungs"

I woke up this morning with these words...

At the top of my lungs I will sing Hallelujah
I'm not ashamed, I'll praise Your name
Let the whole world know, I love You, Lord
I love You, Lord

I have so many things to praise the Lord about but one in particular was something that occurred yesterday. On the way home from church Doc mentioned that the sermon did not go as he had planned. He said it seemed like he was talking to an individual instead of the group. I reflected on how as he preached I thought of different ones in the  congregation that I was hoping were listening to specific parts. I didn't share with him then but after evening prayer time when I was able to process what the Lord did for me I shared what I received yesterday morning. He was going through the Virtuous Woman passage when verse twenty-five stopped me. I'm not sure how much more I heard after that because I was amazed at how the Lord was encouraging me.

This verse spoke so clearly to me that no matter how overwhelmed I become over everything that must be done these next few weeks He is My Strength. I was saddened yesterday by how some ignored me. I know it is the way they are dealing with the news of us leaving but it still hurt. Once again this verse reminded me He is My Strength. I love the promise of this verse..."she can laugh at the days to come"..."she laughs without fear of the future"..."she shall rejoice in time to come"...woo hoo! Thank You Jesus for these promises! Then the Lord reminded me to 'smile' through all of the emotions I am experiencing. It is kind of funny that I told the teens yesterday in Sunday School to smile because we never know when people we come upon will be encouraged by our smile. I told them our smile may be the only smile they see in that day. Wow, God. You are so good!

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for being the One I sing Hallelujah to. Thank You for the words from Doc yesterday that encouraged me so greatly. Thank You for loving me so wonderfully. Father, today is a new day and I pray You will fill me with You so people see and hear You in and through me. I pray You will be so evident in my life. Lord, I seek more of You so I can be like You in a greater way. May Your words be my words and Your attitude be my attitude. Direct my path to those You so desire for me to love on today. Thank You Jesus for being My Promise Keeper. Amen.

Luke 1:45 - "You Make Me Brave"

This day has different meaning for ladies. There are so many that when the word "Mother's Day" is  said they cringe while others feel joy. Today I am praying for the mothers who...

  • raised their children and are blessed with a good relationship with them
  • raised their children yet are estranged from them
  • are raising little ones and feeling like they can't do go another moment due to lack of sleep
  • are dealing with a rebellious child
  • are watching their child be taken away from them through means of the enemy...drugs, alcohol, cults, etc.
  • have buried a child
  • have a child or children in prison
  • have never been able to conceive
  • have chosen to not have children
  • would love to have another child but unable to
I pray each of these ladies will feel the Lord's arms wrapped around them today. For those who have never had a child I pray they will realize Mother's Day is still a celebration in their life because they have a mother to celebrate. I also pray for those whose mothers have left this earth. I pray they will be able to remember the good memories today.

I am grateful to be called Daughter by my Momma
I am grateful to be called Mom by my boys
I am grateful to be called Grandma Sheila by Miss Evelyn, Mr. Beckett, Miss Annabel and Miss Clementine
I am grateful to be called Memaw Sheila by Miss Bella
Most of all I am grateful for being loved by my Heavenly Father with all of my family and friends.

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for yesterday with my friends as we did the MS Walk! Thank You for the day that is ahead as we worship with our Willard Church Family! Thank You for whatever lies ahead in this day! I pray for You to shine through me in a mighty way! Lord, today I will encounter many hurting people. I pray You will enable me to be the balm that soothes their soul. I pray Father for Your love to ooze from me in such a way there will be no doubt You are there for them. Thank You Jesus for being The One To Bless Me. Amen.

Psalm 119:171-172 - "Ever Be"

This is the second day the Lord has these words going through my mind. In fact, yesterday the entire day I was either singing or humming them. It encouraged me to not get crabby when I was physically, mentally and emotionally drained. God is so good! I am so grateful for the way He loves on me.

Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips

Yesterday was a full day but through every hour I felt His peace. I know I am walking in the path He desires of me. Therefore, I know the decisions we make our His. I loved getting a text yesterday morning from a friend on what the Lord said we were to do..."look east." It is so cool how He speaks to people and even more important, it is cool when people are obedient in giving to someone what He tells them.

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for all of the ways You loved on me yesterday. Thank You for the physical, mental and emotional strength You enabled me to have in my body and spirit. Thank You for the blessings You gave us throughout the day. Lord, may today be a day of more blessings. I pray I will be a blessing to You in all that I say and do. I pray You will ooze out of me in such a way that there will be no doubt You are my King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Father, fill me to overflowing with You. Thank You Jesus for being The One Who Fills Me. Amen.

Philippians 4:19; Romans 15:13; Deuteronomy 31:8 - "Ever Be"

"Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips..." Amen! Yes! I will never quit praising the Lord! He is so good! He protects us from things we see and from things we can't see! He loves us with an unconditional love! He blesses us in abundance! He is our strength when we allow His Holy Spirit to work in and through us! Today is a day where I am physically drained yet I am excited for whatever He brings before me! It is so awesome to live in His Presence where peace is felt no matter what is going on! It is so wonderful in knowing I do not have to live in my own strength but can depend upon His strength! Woo hoo! I am depending upon several verses today...

I am depending upon His strength...I am trusting...I know He already knows the outcome of this day. Now my part of the relationship is to stay focused so I can hear His Voice. Woo hoo! I love being surrendered to Him!  I love these words to this song...

You shoulder our weakness
And Your strength becomes our own
You're making me like you
Clothing me in white
Bringing beauty from ashes
For You will have Your bride

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for all of the ways You were so very real to me yesterday and for the way You will be real to me today! You are so awesome! Lord, today is a new day and yes, I will praise You through the tiredness because I know You are My Strength. I will praise You through when uncertainly starts to creep in because You desire for me to be certain and confident in all that I do. Father, fill me to overflowing with more of You...may Your attitude be my attitude. May Your words be on my lips and Your thoughts overtake my thoughts. May You be bold in my decisions. Thank You Jesus for being My Strength. Amen.

James 5:13-16 - "Break Every Chain"

I woke up singing these words and thought "YES!"

There is power in the name of Jesus
There is power in the name of Jesus
There is power in the name of Jesus

To break every chain
Break every chain
Break every chain

Yesterday in the midst of so many emotions the Lord knew we needed some "hallelujah moments" and oh my how He provided!

  • Six baby/child dedications
  • One saved before Doc even got up to preach!
  • One healed from a neck issue before he preached!
  • One delivered from porn
As I was praying over Sharon I felt her head start to straighten up. I'm not sure what happened but as I anointed the back of her neck and prayed in the name of Jesus for her neck to be aligned I felt something. She was healed. The pain and dizziness she had walked into the room with was gone. The chain of pain was broken! Woo hoo!

Hearing "I'm afraid to die" from one who is going through serious health issues and asking her if she knew Jesus loved her and if she wanted to accept Him into her heart was awesome. I prayed and anointed Michelle for a cleansing of her spirit. I prayed and made the sign on a door on her forehead for open doors for a healing not only in her spiritual body but also in her physical body. I also prayed for closed doors on the things that have been a part of her life that are no longer acceptable. I prayed for the Lord to give her strength against the temptation of drugs. I prayed for His peace to be her peace. I was so thankful for the way people were gathering around her in support. The chain of addiction has been broken. Woo hoo!

Having one come into church yesterday and tell Doc God spoke to them about the porn in their home was another awesome time! This is a new believer who became convicted about the porn through "a revelation from God" this past week and knew they had to take care of it. It is gone and the chain of addiction to it has been broken. Woo hoo!

Yesterday was a tough day emotionally but it also was a blessed day. The Lord knew what we needed and He blessed us in abundance with it. He loves us so greatly and for that I am so thankful. I am thankful for all the ways He has shown Himself through this last week since Doc accepted the call to Beaufort. I honestly wondered if I would be able to make it through last week but I should have never doubted. His strength is my strength. That does not just mean a physical strength but it also means an emotional, mental, spiritual, financial strength. His strength is my strength...in every aspect of my life.

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for all of the blessings from yesterday. Thank You for the kind words of many dear friends who are truly our family. Lord, guide the Willard Church through this time of transition. I pray in the name of Jesus they will have a godly leader. Lord, over these next few weeks I pray for all that needs accomplished in our home and in the church. I pray for Your direction at all times. Lord, Your will is what I desire. I do not want to do anything out of Your will. May Your presence continue to be so very real to me. Fill me to overflowing with more of You, Father. Thank You Jesus for being My Will. Amen.

Proverbs 16:3 - "Lifesong"

On February 10th of this year I received this message from a friend...

My fellow Comrad, We are in a Battle but we know who the Champion is. In prayer this a.m. I heard this while praying for you and Pastor Doc- God is giving you Marching Orders. Full speed ahead. Onward Christian Soldier. Blessings. We are in this together. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Love ya!

At the time I knew the Lord was releasing us from Willard but did not have a clue on when things would happen or to where He was calling us to. After praying and seeking His will He opened the door for us to minister in Beaufort South Carolina. This is a time of so many emotions. There is excitement and anticipation for a new challenge but at the same time there is sadness for leaving the home and church family we have known for the last fifteen years. There will be many adjustments in so many different areas of our lives but the one thing that will remain the same is that where God puts us we will love on people in the way He so desires. As one said this morning, "A new chapter is unfolding for you." Yes it is and I am excited that my husband is the godly man who seeks to walk in the Lord's will. It may have been easy for some to say "no" to God and stay in our comfort zone but I am blessed that is not where we live. We live in His will and when that means leaving our comfort zone then so be it.

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for Your love, mercy and grace! Thank You for answering prayers! Thank You for guiding our steps down this new path! Lord, I pray for more of You to be in me. I pray for Your strength, Your wisdom and Your empowerment. Thank You Jesus for being My Lifesong! Amen.
