I had to get up and write about what I was given. I still don't understand it. I looked to see if "muddy waters" was in the Bible but the only thing I found was that the Jordan River was muddy. I read about Naaman's story of being healed in the muddy water. When I think of "muddy waters" I think of something that is unclear.
Then Lord, You took me to Isaiah 42:1-9....
Isaiah 42:1-9
New International Version (NIV)
The Servant of the Lord
42 “Here is my servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen one in whom I delight;
I will put my Spirit on him,
and he will bring justice to the nations.
2 He will not shout or cry out,
or raise his voice in the streets.
3 A bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
4 he will not falter or be discouraged
till he establishes justice on earth.
In his teaching the islands will put their hope.”

5 This is what God the Lord says—
the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out,
who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
6 “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness;
I will take hold of your hand.
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people
and a light for the Gentiles,
7 to open eyes that are blind,
to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

8 “I am the Lord; that is my name!
I will not yield my glory to another
or my praise to idols.
9 See, the former things have taken place,
and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
I announce them to you.”
I will not yield my glory to another
or my praise to idols.
9 See, the former things have taken place,

Lord, I thank You for a night of prayer. I thank You that not only was I in intercessory prayer but You also gave me something for me to ponder. Lord, draw me closer to You and in Your time reveal to me what my "muddy waters" are. Father, I am Your servant and I will do whatever You ask of me. Thank You, Lord for giving me Isaiah 42:1-9 this morning to read. Verse 9 speaks to me in a great way. "See, the former things have taken place and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.” Whatever the muddy waters represent...whatever the "new things" represent...I am Your servant and ready to do as You so desire. Thank You Father for being My Director! Amen.

Thanks for posting. Did you ever found out what "muddy waters" meant? This morning the Holy Spirit woke me up to pray and I saw the muddy water. In the vision that I had, my father was praying first and then I joined him in prayer. I asked for clarity, but nothing yet. I went to look at scriptures about it and came across your blog
Going off of a dream I had some time ago and what actually transpired in real life, I honestly believe that muddy water is God warning you that something isn't right, there is unrighteousness or corruption somewhere and the hint is usually given in the dream. I had another dream with muddy water and I held a mop trying to clean it.
