Ephesians 5:20-24; 33b - #1 of our 25 Things To Do Before Our 25th Anniversary

My hubby and I will be celebrating our twenty-fifth anniversary in September.  We were talking and decided to come up with 25 things to do between now and then.  Some things may be things we've never done before.  Some may be places we've visited and would like to return.  While others may be places we've never been too.  I was pretty excited when minutes after we talked about it I received an email for 55% off Rock Hall of Fame and that's one of the places we had mentioned!  Woo hoo!  One of our favorite things to do in warm weather is to take our chairs up to the Lake and enjoy a day of relaxing.  This past summer we only made it once and it was too cold to get out and enjoy.  One of the things we talked about is to be more intentional to make the time to do that this summer.  The Lord has blessed me in abundance with Doc.  When he took the vows of "in sickness and in health" I'm sure he never dreamed of going through all we have.  Thankfully we have not become part of the 75% statistic of MS patients who end in divorce.  I am so thankful for the way the Lord gives him what he needs to deal with my MS.  I am also thankful for the way the Lord uses each of our attributes to complement one another.  We are truly one.

#1 of our 25 things to do before our 25th was to spend the night in Amish Country in a honeymoon suite.  The Carlisle Inn was decorated so beautiful for the Christmas season!  It was truly a relaxing time.  I must admit that our water bill would probably go sky high if I had a jacuzzi tub at home…lol.  When we left the next morning, we picked up our free ornament from the Wendell August store to start off our celebration.

So thankful for our relationship in the Lord...

"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. ...and the wife see that she reverence her husband."Ephesians 5:20-24; 33b
