Romans 12:1-2 - "Take My Life"

I love, love, love Chris Tomlin's "Take My Life"!!!  This song gives the picture of total surrender.  The meaning of the word "consecrated" is to set apart.  The same meaning as being sanctified.   I praise the Lord for the knowledge that I am sanctified....I am consecrated...I am all His.  Woo hoo!  I am not holding anything back from Him.  He has my total being...my time, my talents, my money...my everything.  

"Take my will and make it thine" is my prayer.  That's the way I want my life.  I want His Will to be my will.  The desire of my heart is for His Will to be in every aspect of my life.  I don't want anything that is not of Him to be in my life.   As I go throughout my day I want His Praises on my lips.  The best day is the day that I can get through the day pleasing Him with my words and actions.  

Romans 12:1-2 reads....
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. ² Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Dear Jesus,
I pray You will be before me today.  "Here am I, all of me.  Take my life, it's all for Thee."  Woo hoo!  I am set apart for You, Lord.  No part of my being belongs to me but rather is all Yours.  Go before me and guide my words, my steps, and my actions.  Put before me opportunities to be You to others.  Thank You in advance for the way You will work through me today.  Amen.
