Psalm 150 - Shofar

Blowing the shofar refers to a Jewish tradition where an instrument made from a ram’s horn is blown to make announcement of significant events. It has been part of Hebrew culture for centuries and is still used today.
I absolutely loved the beginning of the Global NMI Convention yesterday.  The worship was awesome and then to have Dr. Ketchum blow the shofar was the icing on the cake.  Having the other countries participate in Convention through technology was so awesome too.   Seeing the flags of the nations being presented last night was another awesome experience.  Then to have Dr Warrick preach on holiness...wow!  Consecrated...sanctified...following Christ's decisiveness....YES!  No wonder the Lord had me do my devotions yesterday on the same topic!  I am praising Him with my whole being!  He is sooooo awesome!

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for yesterday!  Thank You for all of the ways You blessed me!  Thank You for Your Grace, Mercy and Love.  Thank You for the reminder of Dr Warrick's words last night when he said, "Hope of consistency can't be denied when we walk with Him."  Woo hoo!  Those words encourage me!  Amen.

Psalm 150

Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
    praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
    praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with timbrel and dancing,
    praise him with the strings and pipe,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
